Questions people ask first

If something here is not covered, email service@mosohealth.com and we will answer it directly.

Are you a hospital?

No. Moso Health is an independent medical coordination service. We do not practise medicine. We arrange for licensed doctors at top-tier Chinese hospitals to review your case and treat you, and we handle everything around that.

Do you guarantee a treatment or an outcome?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We guarantee the process: a written opinion from licensed doctors, honest eligibility screening, and a cost estimate before you commit. Medical outcomes cannot be guaranteed by anyone.

How fast is this?

Case review: reply within 48 hours. Written medical opinion: 3 working days after we receive complete records. Treatment start depends on the hospital and the therapy — usually weeks, not months.

Can a family member travel with me?

Yes, and we recommend it for longer stays. We arrange accompanying visas, adjacent accommodation, and an extra bed in the room where the hospital allows it.

Do you help with insurance?

We provide everything your insurer will ask for: itemised invoices in English, procedure codes, medical reports and proof of payment. Whether your policy reimburses treatment abroad is decided by your insurer — we make the paperwork the easy part.

What if I am not eligible?

You will know before you pay anything. Eligibility screening happens during the free case review. If there is no viable option, we tell you plainly and charge nothing.

How long would I need to stay?

CAR-T: 6–8 weeks. Major surgery: 2–4 weeks including recovery. Dental work: usually two short visits. We give you a dated calendar before you book flights.

What happens to my medical records?

They are used only to assess and arrange your care, stored encrypted, and shared solely with the clinicians involved. We align our handling with HIPAA, GDPR and China's PIPL.

Will I be able to communicate?

Yes. A medical interpreter is assigned to your case and attends appointments with you. Hospital paperwork and your records afterwards are translated into English.

Which hospitals will I actually go to?

One of the three named on our hospitals page, or another top-tier centre if your condition is better served elsewhere. We tell you the hospital and department in writing before you pay for anything.

Do you take a cut of the hospital bill?

No. We do not take a percentage of your treatment cost and we do not accept referral fees from hospitals. Our fee is for coordination, and it is itemised separately.

Can I get a second opinion and still treat at home?

Yes, and many patients do exactly that. The written report is yours. Plenty of people use it to open a new conversation with the team already treating them.

Send us your reports. We'll tell you what's actually possible.

No commitment, no fee. If China is not the right answer for your case, we will tell you that first.

What to send: diagnosis, most recent pathology report, treatment history, and latest imaging. Reply within 48 hours.
